Agatha Ruiz de la Prada (Madrid, 1960) is one of the most renowned figures in Spanish fashion and a key icon of the Movida Madrileña cultural movement. Her bold, colorful, and timeless aesthetic has made her an international reference in contemporary design. She debuted in Madrid in 1981, launching a career spanning more than four decades and building a distinctive creative universe. Since then, she has presented her collections in over fifty cities worldwide.

Her work transcends fashion and enters the realm of art, with exhibitions and collaborations that reinforce her vision of fashion as a universal creative language. Her signature imagery — hearts, stars, and vibrant colors — has become a global symbol of optimism. Since 1986, she has developed more than one hundred products and projects, expanding her identity across multiple disciplines.

Her career has been recognized with major awards, including the Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts (2009) and the National Fashion Design Award (2017). In 2011, she founded the Agatha Ruiz de la Prada Foundation to preserve and promote her extensive creative legacy.

Agatha continues to be a symbol of creativity, color, and innovation, and one of the most influential and forward-thinking voices in contemporary Spanish design.
