CHACHO SVNRS is a fashion label born in Gran Canaria that reinterprets the visual and cultural imagination of the Canary Islands through a contemporary, conceptual, and deeply identity-driven lens. Founded by Francisco Casillas, the brand’s creative director, its universe transforms symbols, local sayings, tourist references, and visual codes from the islands into fashion pieces with a distinctive voice.

Far from the traditional idea of the souvenir, CHACHO SVNRS turns it into a language: a way of speaking about belonging, memory, irony, and territory. Each collection begins with a narrative that blends popular culture, streetwear, and a creative vision that places the local in tension with the global, the everyday with the aspirational, and the familiar with the unexpected.

The brand has established itself as one of the most distinctive emerging voices in the Canary Islands, creating collections and visual universes where the islands are not presented as a postcard, but as a living, shifting identity with its own voice in contemporary fashion.

Ayerbu

Ayerbu imagines a future Canary Islands suspended beneath a constant cloud of Saharan dust. In this universe, calima is no longer simply weather, but becomes a cultural, aesthetic, and political condition. The air is no longer invisible: it carries memory, earth, and suspended history.

The collection creates a dialogue between swimwear and elevated streetwear, building garments through adaptation: technical layers, transparencies, utilitarian silhouettes, and reworked pieces designed to respond to an extreme environment. The visual language of the Canary souvenir is distorted and projected into a post-climatic imaginary, where island identity is no longer preserved intact, but transformed.

The brand’s iconic designs reappear blurred, eroded, or partially covered in sand, as if seen through the calima itself. Ayerbu does not dress a postcard: it dresses resistance, transformation, and a new way of inhabiting the Canary Islands.
