Gianluca Urraso is an Italian designer based in Gran Canaria, specializing in haute couture, occasion wear, and author-driven fashion design. His brand was created from a vision in which pattern making, structure, and attention to detail form the foundation of every garment. Throughout his career, he has developed collections defined by a strong aesthetic identity, combining elegance, technical construction, and artistic sensitivity.

The brand follows a controlled and close production model, where design, garment construction, and creative supervision are carried out directly from his atelier in Telde. In recent years, Gianluca Urraso has begun expanding into swimwear through Gianluca Urraso Swimwear, translating his expertise in silhouette and construction into the language of contemporary swim fashion.

The brand embraces gradual growth, integrating sustainability, local production, and limited editions as essential elements of its identity and future development.

VOLARE

VOLARE is a collection inspired by the Mediterranean aesthetic of the 1950s and 1960s, reinterpreted through a contemporary vision focused exclusively on swimwear. The concept emerges from ideas of freedom, movement, and elegance linked to the Italian imagery of the era: women wearing silk scarves while riding along the coast on a Vespa, sophisticated silhouettes under the sun, and a relaxed summer attitude.

The collection explores the relationship between nostalgia and modernity through clean lines, structured cuts, and a color palette inspired by coastal landscapes, sand, sea, and sunset tones. Each design balances functionality and aesthetics, keeping swimwear as the central element.

VOLARE integrates sustainability through certified recycled fabrics and local production in the Canary Islands, reinforcing a responsible and contemporary design approach.
