Palmas

The brand was founded in 1989 as a creative studio under the name Pedro Palmas, developing womenswear prêt-à-porter, bridalwear, and haute couture. Later, the brand expanded to include a corporate uniform division dedicated to the design of uniforms for companies.

The brand closed its doors in 2004, presenting its final collection within the framework of “Gran Canaria Moda Cálida”, before resuming its journey in 2015 with the addition of women’s and men’s beachwear collections.

After a decade of inactivity, during which the designer took time for reflection while at the peak of his career, the brand re-emerged under its creator’s direction with a renewed vision and fresh creative energy, while preserving the distinctive essence that had once defined its approach to dressing. Reintroduced with a new logo, PALMAS remains faithful to its timeless and feminine identity, incorporating architectural influences into its designs, a signature that continues to shape the visionary and creative trajectory of its designer within the world of fashion.

Tiempo

“Tiempo”, the Beachwear 2027 collection, explores the relationship between past, present, and future through historical architecture and the contemporary body. Inspired by European cathedrals, iconic monuments, and the precision of Renaissance technical drawing, the collection creates a dialogue between the rigidity of stone and the fluidity of modern silhouettes. The brand’s exclusive prints reinterpret columns, domes, reliefs, and architectural façades, transforming historical elements into wearable micro-architectures.

From a technical perspective, the collection focuses on swimsuits and bikinis featuring geometric cuts, strategic openings, and cut-out structures that evoke fragmentation and modern deconstructivism. The colour palette combines cream white, absolute black, and burgundy, enhanced with aged silver details that intensify the interplay of light and shadow on the body. Clean lines, symmetry, and precise pattern-making reinforce the collection’s architectural and sophisticated character, where functionality and design coexist in balance.
