Regreso a Peyton Place

This collection takes its title and inspiration from Return to Peyton Place, the 1961 film. A resonant and whimsical title used to explore the aesthetic of the 1960s, not through nostalgia, but through the idea of revisiting it from a different perspective. Inspired by a decade in which fashion stopped being about propriety and became an attitude. Returning to a familiar place does not mean repeating it, but coming back with more freedom, more noise, and fewer rules. “Because returning is never literal.”

The collection plays with memory, transforming and seducing it, just as the youth of the 1960s did when they chose to stop following inherited rules and began writing their own.

Return to Peyton Place connects with the rebellious, experimental, and carefree spirit of the 1960s: a time of scandalous miniskirts, liberated bodies, electric colours, and a generation that turned dressing into an act of provocation.

The collection combines original vintage fabrics from the 1960s with contemporary materials, including printed lycras featuring the same motifs as the original silk and cotton fabrics, plain fabrics, metallic fibres, and recycled materials.

Vibrant colours dominate the palette, including ink blue, red, pine green, violet, and sunflower yellow. The collection also features a collaboration with Nanaya Crochet, specialising in crochet garments and accessories. From a design perspective, the collection revisits silhouettes and garment typologies characteristic of the 1960s, prioritising comfort, functionality, and freedom of movement.
