2019-01-10
Sales have begun during the Días Cálidos at the Sala de Fedac. It shows interesting proposals of prêt-à-porter, ceremony, lingerie, and children’s clothing of seven designers from Gran Canaria Moda Cálida with discounts between 10 to 70 per cent to purchase original designs at the best prices.
The initiative was inaugurated today by the Councillor of Industry and Commerce, Minerva Alonso, and will be open until 19 January. It gathers creations, both the current season and previous ones from the brands: Arcadio Domínguez, Aurelia Gil, Como la Trucha al Trucho, Gonzales Underwear, LadyBug’s Cris Lleó and MiMenina.
Alonso remarked that this event, which was embraced for the third time by the Sala de la Fedac, allowed designers to have a direct contact with the citizenry in the heart of Triana. The aim was to make their designs known and to sell products made in Gran Canaria, and thus to boost the textile sector of the Island.
In the temporary shop on Domingo J. Navarro Street, visitors will find from coats, dresses, skirts, trousers and T-shirts for adults with original designs and natural fabrics, along with suggestive lingerie; to more colourful clothing, with drawings or Scottish tissues, flounces and bows, from the two children’s brands and for teenagers. There are also swimwear offers for those who are still looking for swimsuits or bikinis to enjoy the beach and the swimming pool in winter.
Visitors will even discover during next week a preview of the Spring-Summer 2019 collection that Arcadio Domínguez will be showing in these facilities.
Alonso invited the citizenry to go to this space to discover and acquire the products of Gran Canaria, because it is a unique opportunity to find a broad representation of designers at the same place and with important discounts. The shop will be open from Monday to Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., also on Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Councillor highlighted the importance of the marketing efforts that the Cabildo was doing on the island market to boost the sales, and added that a new edition of ‘Vive el Verano en Las Canteras’ was being prepared for the month of May to make the news of swimwear known in the most emblematic beach of the Grancanarian capital.
