In this complex situation, the Cabildo has to continue to be present to prevent damage to the sector, which is why we have doubled the subsidies to 400,000 euros with various lines of support aimed at the creation of online shops, advertising, promotion and marketing, as well as the creation of workshops and the purchase of machinery".

Eduardo López-Puertas, Director General of IFEMA MADRID, thanked the Cabildo de Gran Canaria for its trust, noting that "This is the third year that we have participated and we are proud to be part of this show. We wanted to repay the enormous trust shown by the Cabildo by contributing our knowledge, which becomes a competitive advantage to gain in international projection and specialisation, two transcendental vectors for Gran Canaria Moda Cálida".

For her part, the Councillor for Industry, Trade and Crafts of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, Minerva Alonso, emphasised the firm commitment to both the internationalisation of the catwalk and the promotion of Canarian talent: "I would like to highlight that this year we are holding the most international fashion festival, as for the first time we are opening the door to Germany and Italy to create synergies and improve the marketing of our fashion, which is our identity. International designers will be attending for the first time as a sign that they already consider this catwalk as a platform to show themselves to the world, but without losing sight of the Canarian identity of the event, where our Canarian designers will present collections that are very close to their territory and of an excellent level".

Nuria de Miguel, director of the catwalk, highlighted that: "we have expanded the international version with the incorporation of four prestigious brands that join the two participants from previous years and that have a high level of creation and are therefore considered iconic in the swimwear fashion industry and it is a sign of our commitment to strengthen this international dimension, for example with the Italian market or with the participation of the HOLA TV channel with broadcasts in the USA and Latin America".
